Have been super busy lately. School mostly. Had several tests right together. Still working on getting dental insurance. I think I found one that has no waiting period and I can afford it but getting the actual work done will probably have to wait until August and September.
I am looking forward to this semester being over. Except that during the summer I am going to take begining algebra which I AM NOT looking forward to. But since that will be my only class hopefully it won't be as hard.
So now, before that start of the fall semester I have to decide what my major is going to be. I have accounting listed right now, but that was for financial aid purposes only, as I had to list something quickly.
I am torn about weather to take what I am interested in (Politcal Science and Pyschology) or what will probably get me a job faster (once my teeth are fixed) which is business. On the one hand I think at this point in life shouldn't I do what is quickest (business) but on the other hand I think, if I am going to pursue things of interest I need to do it now as time is running out.
You hear of people changing careers in the 40's and 50's. But mine is not so much of a career change as it is getting back into the work force. I want to help people. And I want to be politically active and try and make a difference.
I used to think that one person could not do anything. But all of the people in history who made the world a better place started out as one person with and idea and dream. I don't think it is to late, but I do think it is time to start.
So that is where I am on this cold windy Friday night. No decision has to be made today, but I do have a lot to think about.
