The Sky is Pink

I say the sky is pink.  It has always been pink and never blue.  And the only thing I need to prove it is that I say it because I am a  person of substance. 
That is how things would appear to work according to Michele Bachmann.  She says John Quincy Adams was one of the founding fathers.  It does not matter that history does not support that claim.  John Adams was a founding farther according to all the history the I can find.  John Quincy Adams was, (except now for wikepedia which someone changed the definition of based on Michele Bachmann's statements).  So for today the sky is pink.
Do we really want the person who is running our country to be someone who is right because he or she says so, regardless of the facts?  I don't.  I want a person who can say in looking at all the facts I see that I was wrong.  That there is another answer.  What I would REALLY like is someone who looks at all the facts and gets as much information BEFORE opening there mouth.  That may be a dream though. 
In my opinion, if Michele Bachmann were a "persons of substance" as she claims, she would be willing to admit to a mistake and make an effort to do better next time.  Although she did admit John Wayne did not live in the town of Waterloo, it was John Wayne Gacy.  Maybe she has a one mistake a week quota.  Hope her second one is never on anything really important to the safety of our Country.
Oh, and I changed my mind.  For today I have decided that the sky is blue again.
