Gabby Giffords and health care

I watched 20/20 tonight.  It was an interview with and about Gabby Giffords.  It is sad to see how someone who was so vibrant struggle with the most simple words.  But heartwarming to see how positive she is and how far she has come. 
Than I wonder about all the people who have had injuries as severe as she, who do not have the resources she has.  People who were the victims of random violence.  Just ordinary people living honest lives who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Do they have access to that same kind of medical care.  Do they have university professors assisting in the therapy and recovery.
I wish that Gabby Giffords make a full and complete recovery.  But I also wish that all the people who need the kind of care she is receiving had access to it.  That is my dream of a better world.
